Platform II WideBay16

This multi-purpose LED fixture kit provides a Type V distribution with a main beam of 50 degrees vertical. This combination is suited for intersection, parking garage, low-bay and other general lighting applications. The LEDs are mounted 4-12” away from the optical surface which provides excellent hiding power.

Features

  • This one-piece casting design can effectively dissipate up to 100W in a 40ºC ambient temperature with an appropriate LED module.
  • The cast aluminum heat sink is offered either raw or powder coated white. To achieve a wide, Parking Garage distribution, there are 12 internal LED board mounting surfaces which are canted 35 degrees from vertical.
  • A new board mounting feature allows a variety of different board shapes and sizes without the need for any drilling or tapping. Boards may effectively be mounted on 4, 6, 8, 9 or 12 faces.
  • WB16 is shallow so as to allow higher beam angles.
  • Large upper shroud flat top allows it to be easily adapted to most any fixture without the need for expensive collars.
  • The lower lens is shaped to distribute light with wide bat-wing pattern, allowing for greater vertical illumination.
  • Suitable light engines are 100W or less, not including driver.

Components

Cast Aluminum Heat Sink

This one-piece casting design can effectively dissipate up to 100W in a 40ºC ambient temperature with an appropriate LED module. The cast aluminum heat sink is offered either raw or powder coated white. There are two suggested LED Board mounting options. To achieve a wide, Parking Garage distribution, an LED board may be mounted to the horizontal inside top surface.

To achieve a wide, Parking Garage distribution, there are 12 internal LED board mounting surfaces which are canted 35 degrees from vertical. Widebay Shroud

The large upper shroud flat top allows it to be easily adapted to most any fixture without the need for expensive collars. Shroud is adaptable to any LED POD with an opening of up to 12.55 inches. Interface® upper shroud yields high light efficiency and a gentle glow for maximum brightness control. Lumieo® upper shroud allows for greater up-light. Available in Interface Acrylic, Lumieo® Acrylic and Polycarbonate Frost.

Widebay16 Reflexor

16” lower diameter lens to be used primarily for low bay applications where brightness control is paramount. Lower lens also enhance uplight and vertical illumintation. The 16” lens can also be used as a drop lens option on 816 and S16 Reflexors®. 16” lens provides a 1.75 to 2.00 spacing criterion (depending on POD LED board layout). It is available in LED Grade Acrylic, Lumieo® Acrylic, Acrylic Moon Glow™ and Polycarbonate Clear.

Latches

There are three pieces to each latch; the main hook, the minor hook, and the hook connector. The latch will come assembled from our warehouse. Latches are available in White and clear.
