A.L.P.’s leadership team not only possesses vast industry knowledge but also has the business expertise and commitment to guide the organization’s success through serving valued customers.

Despite our growth, A.L.P. remains a family business guided by the principles of our founder, William Brown and with the continued involvement of his sons Steve and David.  Many of the values that the Brown family holds dear, such as respect, commitment, and hard work, remain key drivers behind everything we do.

WILLIAM BROWN

FOUNDER

Company founder, Bill Brown, worked diligently to supply the lighting marketplace with components for almost seven decades.  He built A.L.P. from a humble operation to an industry-leading presence.  He remains known and recognized for his extensive sale experience, manufacturing expertise, and service to the lighting community.  He is a Member Emeritus of the IES, previously occupying board leadership positions with the IES and the Commission International de l’Eclairage.

STEVE BROWN

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Trained as an accountant, Steve Brown spent most of his early career with A.L.P. focusing on sales and marketing in different regions of the United States. As CEO, Steve plays a leadership role in the company’s strategic direction, leveraging decades of expertise and considerable industry relationships to support A.L.P.’s profitability.  He has served as a board member of the IES in Chicago and Los Angeles.

DAVID BROWN

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

David Brown devoted his 45-year career to A.L.P., holding a variety of international positions before assuming the operational helm. Educated as a lawyer, David’s attention to detail has always brought a unique perspective to the organization. He now serves an active role on the company’s Board of Directors, using his extensive experience to support budgeting, major projects, and strategic planning initiatives.

TOM BARNES

VICE PRESIDENT AND BUSINESS MANAGER

Tom Barnes provides enterprise-wide leadership for all of A.L.P.’s product lines and product-related activities.  He is charged with driving profitability for plastic, metal, and sourced components through the strategic management of new product development, production, pricing, and marketing.  Tom has devoted his entire career to lighting, holding a variety of management positions with LexaLite.  He is a Certified Lighting Professional and holds four patents related to plastics in lighting.

JIM GRADY

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jim Grady has more than 30 years of finance and operations experience with expertise in all aspects of financial systems, planning, reporting and analysis. An entire career in the manufacturing sector – including tenures with aluminum and plastics extruders – has made Jim adept at the analysis and decision-making required to maximize the profitability of a complex, multi-plant operation. He is responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, information technology, and human resources departments.

ADAM MAYSE

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Adam Mayse brings an entrepreneurial spirit and mastery of business processes to directing all strategic and managerial activities for A.L.P.  He is responsible for manufacturing operations, customer experience, corporate services, finance, sales, and marketing.  Adam has worked in lighting for nearly 30 years and has an in-depth understanding of the industry, its products, and its processes. With degrees in mechanical engineering and finance, and broad experience outside of lighting, his insights prioritize new technology, operational efficiency, and customer solutions.

MATT MURPHY

Vice President of Operations

Matt Murphy builds and motivates high-performance teams, leveraging standardization and best practices to meet corporate objectives. He has worked in a variety of industries leading Operations, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and Human Resources activities. In his current role, Matt supervises all of A.L.P.’s manufacturing facilities and the Corporate Services functions of continuous improvement, sourcing, operations analytics, and logistics.

KIM SARNO

Director, Customer Experience

Kim Sarno is a seasoned and skilled customer advocate, responsible for the strategic management of all customer service operations.  Having dedicated her career to the lighting industry, Kim has mastered product technology, balancing the technical aspects of customer care with a personalized, relationship driven approach.  She works closely with all of A.L.P.’s departments to ensure that a customer-centric mindset is reflected in everything we do.

DONNY WALL

PRESIDENT OF BILL BROWN SALES

Donny Wall manages the revenue and field performance of the Bill Brown Sales team. He has worked in lighting his entire career, including holding key positions at Cooper Lighting. Before assuming the helm of BBS, Donny managed major account relationships in the Southeast. Donny’s industry connections, market expertise and leadership skills are an asset to the sales team and OEM customers.

LISA YEADON

Director, Marketing Communications

Lisa Yeadon draws on an extensive background in corporate communications, marketing management, media, and event planning to manage all aspects of internal and external messaging for A.L.P. Lisa excels at translating complex business challenges into actionable strategies and engaging content. She leverages traditional and digital marketing platforms to optimize integrated campaigns in support of business growth.
